Do you love listening to Shadows and Daylight? It can be fun to listen along and immerse yourself in a story, but how would you like a chance to go one step further and try out to be in Shadows and Daylight? We're holding general open auditions, which means any voice, any age, any gender, we're open to hearing what you've got! We can't guarantee you'll get a role on the show, but we will prayerfully consider the auditions. Details:How do I audition?
Simple, just send us an email (use the contact form) letting us know you would like to try out. You can send a link to a production you've acted in before, but if you haven't acted in anything before, don't worry, you still can audition, just ask us how to go about that when you email us. Do I need to live near the studio or travel? Nope. Thanks to the Internet GreenStreams Studio has worked with many different people in entirely different countries and continents on our various productions. We'll explain the remote recording process to you once you have contacted us. Do I need experience? Experience is not required, but is always an asset. We'll be praying about the auditions, and feel that it's more important who God chooses, than it is about prior experience levels. Do I need recording equipment? Unless you are living within a reasonable commute to our studio, or can travel periodically, you will need access to recording equipment, or to be willing to purchase some out of your own pocket. Shadows and Daylight actors are volunteers and will have to get access to recording equipment themselves (unless they have the means to come to our studio). Fortunately, this day and age access to decent recording equipment is cheaper and easier than ever before. We can discuss what equipment you have, and cheap solutions if you need to purchase any equipment. How committed do I need to be? Excitement and commitment are more valuable than skills are in the long run. Skills can be learned, excitement and commitment have to be self-motivated. If you love Shadows and Daylight and acting, and are willing to solidly commit to have 2 hours a week set aside exclusively for Shadows and Daylight, you will be one of our favourite people. God bless! In Christ, Christopher Green, Shadows and Daylight Co-Producer
